Yishun Primary School is one of Yishun’s ten primary schools. Founded in 1982, Yishun Primary was the first school in Yishun New Town, starting with 200 students at 551 Yishun Ring Road. In 2008, it merged with Peixin Primary School, forming the new Yishun Primary at 500 Yishun Ring Road, officially opened on 1 July 2011.
