overview
Peiying Primary School, one of Yishun’s ten primary schools, has deep roots in Nee Soon’s history. It began in 1919 as Fa Chu School, founded by philanthropist Lim Nee Soon, and evolved through several name changes and mergers—becoming Poi Eng Public School in 1941.
In 1987, it relocated to Yishun Ring Road, and was renamed Peiying Primary School, meaning “to nurture citizens for nation-building”. The school is conveniently served by bus services 807 and 811.
