At Blk 717 Yishun Street 71, found this solid stall called River Valley Teochew Kway Chap 皇家山脚潮州粿汁 — and if you love traditional kway chap, confirm you’ll appreciate this one 😍 First thing that caught my attention? You can choose black or white kway 🤯 Nowadays very rare already! Whether you prefer the darker herbal style or the lighter Teochew version, they got you covered. The braised ingredients here really solid. Everything braised until very flavourful and tender — intestines, tau pok, egg, all nicely done. That kind of old school taste that brings you back 👌 And please don’t skip their pig trotter meat 🐷🔥 Soft, gelatinous, rich but not too heavy. This one really must order.
